Second Mississippi Trip

We sure weren't expecting to be going back down to Mississippi, especially the circumstances. Jonathan's Grammy passed away just a week after we left. His mom stayed down a couple extra days and had her plane not been delayed twice she would have been back in Colorado and missed the news that Grammy went into the hospital. She was able to be by her side the last few days of her life which was an amazing blessing.

We ended up driving down this next trip with Jonathan's dad, brother and fiance. My parents watched the boys for us here in Denver.

Jonathan's Uncle Gene was the sheriff in town for many many years and he has an amazing museum on his property to display all the memories.

Jonathan gave a very touching speech about how his Grammy would always have some marbles for him when he would come visit that she had found in her garden.
