The Boys' First Halloween

Two Peas in a Pod
Grandma Gay Hope made these amazing outfits, hats and pea pod. We had a photo shoot when all the grandparents were here for their "due date" party. Noah is on the left, and Caleb on the right.

Mom and Dad even had pea hats...

Pumpkin Patch

Jonathan surprised us and scouted out an awesome pumpkin patch and brought us to it on Saturday. It was just beautiful and so much fun! We think the boys had a fun time in their baby bjorns, but I think we may have liked it more than them :)

EVERYONE IS FINALLY HOME!!!

WE'RE HOME!!!!!
Well, it was one long month and a day, but we finally have our boys home from the NICU and we are so thrilled. What a difference it makes to not be running back and forth from the hospital! The boys actually came home on different days, Noah came home on the 12th and Caleb on the 15th. It was excruciating to just get to take Noah, but we counted our blessings and grabbed them out of there when we could!

All ready for the car ride home. What a GLORIOUS day!!

In their bassinet together, the same one their dad slept in when he was a baby. They have seperate cradles, but they love to be close, so for nap time we love to put them together. Caleb is on the left and Noah on the right. Noah came home on a whiff of oxygen, as the doctors like to call it. Most Denver NICU babies need a little extra O2, but it helps relieve the pressure of getting them confused right now! :)

Caleb's first bath at home.

Noah is always trying and succeeding to yank on his oxygen tube. It should be a few more weeks with it in, but again we count our blessings.

Our first walk to the park in the double stroller. The boys just loved it by falling fast asleep.

Daddy sleeping with our precious angels. Lots of times at night and early morning we like to see if they will sleep just a little bit longer with us. For the most part, they are on the same schedule which makes it easier.

I am working on the art of multi-tasking :)

Jonathan getting to come home from a stressful day and watch the Broncos game with his boys. It just melted the stress away.

Our little men! We are just in heaven enjoying our beautiful new gifts!

First Two Weeks

Our Precious Boys are now over 2 weeks old!! It has been quite a whirlwind these days, but we feel so fortunate our little guys are doing so well. The NICU really helps us put in perspective the blessing we have that Noah and Caleb are so healthy. Noah is now 5lbs 10 ozs and Caleb is 5lbs 14ozs. In pictures Noah is always on the right and Caleb is on the left. :)

Do we look identical or what?

Believe it or not this is an UNPOSED picture!! This was their first time together so close ( Kangaroo time) and Caleb reached over and put his arm around Noah. It was the most precious thing we have ever seen in our entire lives.

Some Brother time, looks like their talking :)Just such an incredible experience to hold them together, hard to describe how amazing it feels!!

We are sending out more pictures on a snapfish album, so you can see more there and also please just ask if you know this blogsite, but are not on my list since I don't have everyone's email addresses, I would LOVE to add you on!! You can post a comment for me to add you :)

NOAH AND CALEB ARE HERE!!!

On September 14th, 2008 our lives were changed forever. The Lord blessed us with two precious boys that have lit up our world from the first second we saw them. Noah was born at 4:47 am, weighing in at 5 lbs 2 oz and Caleb was born at 5:48 am, weighing in at 5 lbs 9 oz. They did come a little earlier than expected, at 33 weeks, buts its probably because they were already so big and strong that they decided it was time to move on :). They are both in the NICU and doing very well, learning how to eat and gaining weight. As for Jillian, she is doing amazing and what else would you expect from this extraordinary woman. We frequently have to remind her to rest and take it easy as she is giving all that she has to these precious boys. As for Jonathan, he is a very proud daddy, running around trying to take care of his new family. God has blessed us so much and we are so thankful for what He has provided. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we care for these boys and eagerly anticipate the day when they can come home with mommy and daddy. We love you all!

Jonathan is HOME and it's Week 33

Jonathan is finally HOME and we are SO Thankful!! It was an anxious month, but thankfully our family is back together again.
Well, it's week 33 and I have entered into the hard part. I'm now quite uncomfortable at all times, getting that swollen pregnant look (Really NOT my favorite), hardly able to sleep, and not able to do much at all. But of course this will all be worth it. :) I'm just glad Jonathan is home.

BIG BOYS

We had an appointment a week an a half ago and at the end of the ultrasound the Tech said, "Are you ready for this?" I had no idea what she was talking about and was a little nervous but I replied "I guess so." She informed us that Baby A was already 3 lbs 11ozs (in the 88% in size) and that Baby B was already 4 lbs 8ozs (98% in size!). This was at my 28th week, so they forcasted to week 38 and are guessing they will both be over 8lbs, maybe closer to 9lbs each!! She kept saying I was made for this and that I could do it again if we want, so thankfully they are not a bit concerned about me, early labor, or bed rest which was a wonderful relief for me! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as Jonathan is going to be down in San Antonio for close to 3 more weeks. We are anxious to all be together again.

First Babies Shower

My first babies shower was just wonderful! Kari McCabe and Kappy Stewart sure throw a great party. So many friends I grew up with were able to make it, as well as their moms. And my mother-in-love as well as friends from Denver were there to celebrate. I think the hooded Tigger and Winnie the Pooh towels are about the cutest things in the world! I can't imagine how adorable they will be with our little boys in them!! I am quite excited about my stylish diaper bag as well :)

Precious Babies

We were fortunate yesterday to get the opportunity to have a 3D ultrasound, and we were just in awe at our little boys and how precious they look. Just the cutest things we have ever seen!!Both their cute little hands were by their faces. Baby B was getting in Baby A's face, but he was still at peace. :)
