Road Trip to South Dakota

My Mom, Noah, Caleb and I recently went to Philip, South Dakota. It is where my mom grew up and I have gone there almost every summer I can remember. So, finally it was about time the boys were able to go! Unfortunately, Jonathan had to start his first year of Anesthesiology and wasn't able to get the time off. The boys did pretty well in the car, hardly slept at all though... they were way too interested in big trucks, trains, horses and cows :)
Yes, this looks wrong and everything inside me was thinking "this is illegal!" But, we were locked out of our car outside of the Steakhouse in Philip. It was 9:30 or so and we hadn't unpacked anything, so we were desperate to try to get the boys down to sleep somehow while my Uncle Bruce worked with a guy to try to pry the keys out. Amazingly, about an hour later we had the keys and could all go to sleep in our pajamas having brushed our teeth... aww... what a relief...

Playing at a great park with Grandma Mary...

This was precious... Great Grandma Eleanor playing with the boys on the floor...
Everywhere we went there was a new and wonderful box of toys! Every mother's dream... it kept them so entertained...

Visiting Vivian....I sure hope she is feeling better

This is every boys dream land!!!

There was a gorgeous sunset one night with a double rainbow... it was amazing!

The boys were so sweet with the babies... they would hold them and feed them, it was so adorable...

At the Badlands on our way to Wall Drug. Caleb got out and put his hand on the ground and said, "Dirt", then went and put his hand on the vertical rock and said, "More Dirt". He's completely right, but it's very beautiful dirt...

Noah preferred this horse :)

They both LOVED riding on this... It didn't last long and I have no idea how many quarters I put in there...
Noah with his construction hat on... he loved wearing it backwards...
So precious...Noah holding the baby while playing...

Julie's boys brought one of their black hens inside to show the boys :) They were amazed to see a chicken inside and so was I!
This Crocodile is in Carson's room. He caught it in Florida and they stuffed it for him... just don't see this everyday....

Noah and Caleb getting ready for their train ride at Storybook Island. Noah started crying immediately so I grabbed him out, then chased the train around because Caleb was okay as long as I was close...
The sprinklers where on when we got home and the boys were running through them immediately... and the clothes came off fast!

Denys and Shantelle's Wedding!

We had a wonderful time being a part of Denys and Shantelle's wedding. It was beautiful! Denys is Jonathan's youngest brother. The boys did quite well, a little crying at the beginning but they went down the aisle with Grandpa Mayles and looked adorable.

Here is Noah before the wedding with his hands in his pockets... so cute I'm speechless!
Look at Caleb's little foot tapping!! These pictures are just cute beyond words...
Here is Grandpa Mayles picking them up after they walked down the aisle and got the "big trucks" from Daddy... really little trucks actually. But then Noah started crying and wanted both and then wanted me, so my mom stuck to our plan and quickly took him out of the sancuary. I didn't want them to steal the show! :) Caleb sat with Grandpa Mayles the whole time and never said a word.

Fun times around the Wedding

We had such an amazing time getting to see family and friends during the wedding festivities! Everyone flew into Denver, so we were able to show Jonathan's Dad's family our house and hang out for awhile. Grandpa Mayles and Aunt Lynn were playing ping pong well!
Jonathan and the boys wore their USA jerseys to support the US in the World Cup, but unfortunately it didn't help...

Great Uncle Andrew pushing the boys at the same time while sitting down himself! Amazing!

Grandpa Brian overseeing his new sweet truck for the boys... Noah got extremely attached and I think missed almost 3 meals because he would cry histerically when he had to leave it!
What a sweet picture... for 3 hours we could have taken the same exact picture...
Grandpa Rick and Noah
Shantelle and Denys recieving their wedding present from us... it was a fun painting to paint!!
Grandpa Mayles recieving his painting... I'm so thankful he has a perfect place for it!
I'm showing Grandpa Mayles the necklace he gave me that was Ann's. It is a beautiful turquoise turtle... I love it!

Man they look identical in this picture! Even their hair!! They were so serious with this sprinkler

Noah would say, "Maa Ma!...Maa Ma!" with a straight face and aim it right at me :)
So serious and adorable! This is Caleb :)

The boys wanted to go on a walk and it was a great idea. It was a nice evening stroll...
