Back into Painting!

I am happy to say I've been able to get back into painting the past few months and this is the first painting I have finished since the boys were born. We went to Florida in June and this is a painting from there. I try to make a point to go paint during their nap, it doesn't always work, but lots of times it's quite productive for an hour. I also get some help when my mom or Jonathan can watch the boys for a few hours.

Painting Sunday

The first weekend in November I did a painting during each sermon at church that went along with the message. It was about Psalm 1 and was an incredible experience for me!
My mother in law, Gay Hope is singing on the left, and it was nice moral support for her to be up there!

This is the first painting

You can see the first one on the right and I am working on the second one. They were a diptic, so they went together once they were complete
I had to paint as fast as I possibly could, it was hard to do, but a blessing to get the opportunity

The church has gotten them framed and are going to hang them to display

Horses for Halloween

Noah and Caleb, enjoying their costumes :)
They thought they each looked hilarious and got a kick out of it!

We went to a party some friends had and there was a little boy just 4 days older than them, they were all so cute playing together!

We went down to Colorado Springs and went to the church for their trunk or treat party. The boys ran around for hours having a great time.

It was fun to all be together and we were glad all the Grandparents and Great Grandpa and Grandma Arnold could join in on the fun with the boys

Jonathan and I wore Broncos clothes and said the boys were broncos and we were their biggest fans!!

First Snow!

We were dumped with 17 inches of snow!! It was awesome!
Caleb all ready to go

Noah is not quite as sure

So excited... until they actually reach the snow....

They pretty much cried the whole time! They didn't want to touch the snow one bit, and would only go in their swing, red wagon or front porch bench where they didn't have to actually be in the snow...
This was hilarious! We thought they would love it...maybe next year... I sure hope so!!

Jonathan with his boys

Oh, the irony

Noah and Caleb, so gosh darn cute!! :)

Estes Park Vacation

We had an amazing vacation in Estes park this September right after the boys birthday. We stayed in a great rustic cabin right by the river and we're able to get away for 4 nights! It was just what we needed. We went on lots of hikes with the boys in Rocky Mountain National Park, had a great time around town, and loved relaxing and playing games in the cabin.

The boys were quite excited to see the elk and kept pointing to them and grunting :)

Sweet Caleb, playing with his new ball in a park

Sweet Noah

This lookout was at the highest point in Rocky Mountain National Park, the boys absolutely loved it!! They could look out over the rocks and were so excited

Adorable Caleb

Adorable Noah :)

The boys were making quite the scene, and people loved to watch them a whole lot more than the scenery :)
Here was the back of our cabin and the river was just to the right. We were so glad we brought the panels so the boys could play on the deck, they loved it out there. It was so peaceful
